DRESSED in a stunning silver evening gown, ANGELINA JOLIE looks over a square in the world’s most romantic city as JOHNNY DEPP approaches from behind.
But BRAD PITT has nothing to worry about – the two stars are in Venice filming their new movie, The Tourist.
They were spotted on the balcony, looking over the stunning Palazzo Pisani-Moretta as The Changeling star blew a kiss and waved to the crowd below.
Angelina has brought the whole family, including all six children, with her to the Italian city.
The Brangelinas are staying at a 16th century palace with marble floors, a stunning courtyard garden and space for 140 people.
The Tourist is the story of a broken-hearted traveler, played by Johnny, who is seduced by a ruthless Interpol agent looking to flush out a criminal she once had an affair with.
Surprisingly, the film marks the first time the paths of two of Hollywood’s biggest stars have crossed.
“I had never met Angelina before, but I found her to be a real treat, I mean a real doll,” said Johnny on a recent visit to London.
“She is a nice woman, serious about what she does and loves her man and loves her kids. I was very impressed.”

Parenting worries lead to a new love pact for the on/off couple
Pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie last week in Paris and Venice show, the pair are working hard to patch up their differences.
They’ve realised that focusing so much on each other has left their six children paying the price, so the couple have decided to put them first.
‘They’re staying together as a family and have vowed to work out their problems,’ a source says. ‘No matter how much they fight, they agree on one thing: they adore their kids and will do anything in their power to ensure they have happy lives.’
Brad and Angie know that starts with the parents, so they recently outlined a plan that would help them function as a couple.
So far, it seems to be working. It includes backing each other’s careers, not fighting in front of the kids and making more of an effort with each other’s families. Read the rest of this entry →

Fans oppose Angelina Jolie’s casting as Scarpetta

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has sparked fury among the fans of Patricia Cornwell’s best selling crime novels by being chosen to play its heroine Kay Scarpetta on screen.
Many say that Jolie is too “exotic” and skinny to play the screen version of the medical examiner, reported Daily Mail online.
The character in 17 best selling books is a middle-aged, lesbian with short blonde hair, much like the 53-year-old author herself.
Jodie Foster was the first choice to play Dr Scarpetta, but the Academy winning actress, one Hollywood’s highest profile lesbians, turned the role down.
Ever since, it has been announced that the 34-year-old Jolie will play Scarpetta, fans have taken to Corwell’s official website to oppose the move.
“Angie is all wrong to play Kay. Kay is a ’striking’ woman. She has class. Angie’s exotic looks would take away from the actual characters,” said Anne Samuel.

Anne Hathaway would love to kiss like Angelina Jolie.
When the Valentine’s Day star, 27, shares the different types of on-screen kisses with the U.K. edition of GQ magazine, she laments that “full-on movie kissing” isn’t one of her strong suits.
“It’s a totally different experience,” she says of the forceful kiss. “But really you have to be Angelina Jolie to pull that off and still look good. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I ain’t no Angie.”
She does dispel some tips on what she calls “pretty movie kissing,” and uses the back of her left hand as the lucky recipient.
“You have to leave your mouth open a little bit,” she tells the magazine’s March issue (out Friday). “Open up. More, more, ever so lightly… Otherwise you’re going to be getting smoothy. Now, slow it down … just a little bit.” Read the rest of this entry →
